Collections Related to Criminology

The Μuseum possesses three collections related to Criminology which include a very big number of items. The three collections related to Criminology are the following:

  • Military Equipment Collection, which includes objects-evidence of criminal activities from homicides and suicides that occurred in the dues of 19th and in the beginnings of 20th century. The collection is divided into the following sub-collections:
  • Weapons: mêlée weapons and firearms 
  • Guillotine 
  • Artifacts, tools and canes 
  • Explosives and ammunition 
  • Military equipment

  • Ritual Artifacts Collection, which includes objects-evidence from Greek sites where rituals were performed. The items of the particular collection are dated from the dues of 19th to the beginnings of 20th century.
  • Forged Banknotes Collection, which includes banknotes and stamps from Greece and other European countries, collected in the beginnings and in the means of 20th century.
